Narrow Gauge North

It's a bright, sunny summers day and the morning passenger train has pulled into the sleepy village of St Mary's, bringing the post and the days news. Wagons of goods dropped off yesterday are collected by the little black tank engine which rests a while by the water tank, its driver passing the time of day with the station porter. The little engine soon trundles off through the countryside and the Post Office van begins its own daily trip, leaving the village quiet once again.

St Mary's is our first 7mm scale narrow gauge layout, inspired by family summers spent riding little narrow gauge trains to nowhere...
